Airport West Community Events

Farmers' Market: Every Saturday morning, Airport West hosts a farmers' market at Westfield Shopping Centre. Local farmers and artisanal food producers come together to offer fresh fruit and vegetables, hand-made bread, cheese, meat, and other locally-sourced products.
Community Festivals: Airport West celebrates a range of community festivals throughout the year. In summer, there is the Airport West Community Festival, featuring live music, food stalls, carnival rides, and a fireworks display. In winter, there is the Winter Warmers event, featuring ice skating, a pop-up market, and food and drink stalls.
Art Exhibitions: The Incinerator Gallery, located in the nearby suburb of Moonee Ponds, offers a range of exhibitions throughout the year. The gallery showcases both local and international artists, and also runs workshops and events for children and adults.
Sporting Events: Airport West is home to a number of sporting clubs, including the Airport West Football Club, Airport West Cricket Club, and Airport West Basketball Club. These clubs offer regular training sessions and competitions, as well as community events such as fundraising barbecues and family fun days.
Community Gardens: The Airport West Community Garden is located on the grounds of the Airport West Uniting Church. The garden is open to all members of the community, and offers a range of workshops and events throughout the year, including gardening tips and sustainable living practices.
